It’s A Girl!

This morning D and I found out that we are having a girl! D and I both took the morning off and went to my ultrasound appointment together. The technician said she was “90% sure” that it is a girl, which is good enough for me. I guess this means we have to get more serious about picking a girl’s name. I was wavering, but put it off since I figured I wouldn’t have to worry about it if it turned out to be a boy. I am also excited to start thinking about how to decorate the nursery and deciding what to register for. I was hoping for a girl, perhaps because I am pretty much a girly-girl. I also had a feeling it would be a girl, as girls tend to run in my family. My parents have three daughters, no sons, and my grandma has five granddaughters and no grandsons!
